The rules for using AthleteFuel. Short, and worth reading — particularly the part about what this app is not.
Allergies and dietary restrictions
You can tell AthleteFuel about allergies and restrictions, and we filter suggestions accordingly. You must still check every label and every ingredient yourself. Our food data can be incomplete or wrong, recipes change, and manufacturers reformulate products without notice.
If your athlete has a severe allergy, treat this app as a planning aid only and never as the thing that decides whether a food is safe.
Who can use it
You need to be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of the athlete you are setting up. By creating an account you confirm you have the authority to share that athlete's information with us.
Your athlete may use the athlete view on your account to pick their own snacks. They cannot create their own account.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@athletefuel.app if you think someone else has access.
Beta software
AthleteFuel is in beta. It may be unavailable, lose data, show wrong times, or change substantially without warning. We are testing it with a small group of families precisely to find those problems.
We may change or discontinue the service. If we shut it down we will tell account holders by email first.
What it costs
The beta is free for 30 days. We do not collect a credit card, and nothing charges automatically. If we later offer a paid plan ($9.99/month is the intended price), we will ask you to choose it deliberately. If you do nothing, you are not charged.
Your content
The information you enter — your athlete's details, your picks, your notes — stays yours. You give us permission to use it to run the service for you and to improve how it makes suggestions. We do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Acceptable use
- •Don't try to access other families' data.
- •Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute our recipe and snack content.
- •Don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service.
Ending it
Stop using the app whenever you like, and email us to delete your account and its data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
AthleteFuel is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will update this page and the effective date. Questions go to support@athletefuel.app.
